Tabloid

On Wednesday after lunch Ruapotaka School had Tabloids. There were four houses and the names of the houses were Kikorangi, Kakariki, Kowhai and Whero. My house team was Kowhai. Kowhai means yellow in Maori. We lined up in our houses to get ready for the sport events. My favourite sport was soccer because that's the only sport I know how to play.

2017 Assembly

After the Waitangi weekend we had an assembly on Tuesday. Room 12 had to host an assembly. We did a dance competition for the assembly and me and Lupe had to go around the senior block to get two dancers from the classes. When we finished we went back to Room 12 and put the dancers name into a document. Vaimoana chose two songs called 'Be Happy' and 'Lean On Me'.

Scariest Time Of My Life

On Saturday me and my dad went to a place called the Spookers 10 Years Of Scare, it was very far from Auckland, it took us about two hour to get there. Finally after all that driving me and my dad had arrived at the Spooker. I was extremely scared when I was in front of the haunted hospital. I wanted to go back home but my dad said, ''No.'' so we stayed. There were two people who were came with me and told my dad that me and my dad should go to the haunted hospital. My dad was the first one to go in the hospital, then we all followed because the security said that my dad had to be the leader. That was the scariest day of my life.

Syndicate Assembly Room 12

Last week on Monday it was our turn to be the host for the syndicate assembly. So what we did was an activity called, 'Class Feud'. some of the answer were easy and some of them was not. It was funny when people randomly said the wrong answer. When half of our assembly was over and it was time for certificates and Samuel and Anavea had received a certificate from Mrs Golder, for being responsible and for having good manners. Lastly our assembly had come to an end and it was time to go back to class and start learning again.

Worst Holiday Ever

September 16 was the last day of term 3 and the holiday had began. My holiday was boring because we had to stay home for the whole holidays and the only thing we can do was help my mum and watch television. that's it. Luckily my dad was so kind that he took to a place called Ice Skating. It was very hard learning how to skate. It took me about two hours to learn. We came back home at 10:30 pm. That was the best day of my two weeks holiday.





WORST HOLIDAY EVER!!!

Trip To Botanic Garden

Today the whole Ruapotaka School went to a very beautiful place called the Botanic Gardens.

The Gardens is about native plants and the environment like pond, flower, rocks and trees. It was pretty fun but the only thing I didn't like was the hot sun.

It was too sunny that I felt like drinking a whole bottle of water.

My favourite part was when we had to go in the forest. It was shady and it was nice and cold in the forest because of the trees. That's why the forest was my favourite place to visit.

Cross country certificate

On Wednesday the whole senior block had to go to the library for a syndicate assembly. The assembly was for the people who came first, second and third in cross country. When I was walking to the library I thought we were going to get in trouble. Eight People from Room 12 had came first, second and third.
