Last week on Thursday, a special person from Vector came to our school and her name was Esther. She talked to us about electronics and windmills.
She showed us her cardboard helicopter that moves when the sun is shining on it or put a flash light on it. After that she asked some questions and gave some stickers if we got the answer right. Then she talked to us about how much electricity that we are using in our house or any where else.
At the end she showed us her electronic car. It was so awesome the car can move by itself under a sun or under a flashlight. My favourite thing was the electronic car but the helicopter wasn't bad.
I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Golder.

Lunch Time Sport
On Monday Room 12 and Room 11 had sport with Mrs Shortland at lunch time. In my team I had Matali, Haliano, Jack Daniel, Pepe, Mele and I forgot the rest. It was fun until I fell down. We won by four points and when Mrs Shortland went back to the staffroom, all of us argued.

School Holiday
In the School holidays me and my family went to Rangitoto Island. We got there on a ferry and it took us 25mins. On the way to Rangitoto Island I saw some dolphins jumping around. 25min later we had arrived. It was a long walk to get to the top of the Rangitoto mountain. When we got there I saw a big hole full of rocks. We stayed there for one hour then we all had to come back home.
